Travel Description
What to expect
Why it matters
This is not just one of China’s most famous sites — it’s one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the world. Thousands of life-sized soldiers, each with unique details, standing exactly where they were buried over 2,000 years ago. Seeing it in person is far more powerful than photos.

How long to visit
Plan 2.5–3 hours on site, including the main pits and museum area. It’s a half-day experience and pairs well with a relaxed lunch afterward.

How to avoid crowds
Arrive early in the morning or visit on a weekday if possible. A guided visit also helps you move through the site more efficiently and understand what you’re seeing without feeling rushed.
